A Winter’s Tale

Reading the famous Great Expectations right now and it’s…so absurd! It’s not particularly dense or hard to read but the characters, their actions and their thoughts are just…baffling! Can’t relate at all to these weirdos! I decided to do a Christmas-lite mani with a plummy red from Essie and minty blue from Nails Inc.

The camera did not capture the subtle sparkles in this orchid/magenta bath bomb at all. It had a weak coloring but it did smell rather expensive and floral.
I’m in awe of this giant unicorn bath bomb. Not only was it dusted with an assortment of colors, it actually is filled with an intense fuchsia that colored the whole bath wonderfully. Daphne was definitely a fan! Highly recommend these bath bombs from Amazon!
I made this candle! It only took two other leftover candles to create this heavenly smelling one. Can’t wait to light it up soon!
Christmas Part I at my parent’s house during Thanksgiving because we didn’t know whether we’d be able to celebrate Christmas together. It was the roughest November I can remember in a while so my sister and my mom wanted to at least have this.
My grandmother passed after an emotionally wrenching fight with lung cancer in November. She had fought and survived both lung cancer and breast cancer in the past. She was a strong, determined, fiercely optimistic, graceful lady. Grandma Zhang Hua, you will always be remembered and missed.
