I have been given the chance to host a healthy baby home party as a member of 7th Generation’s Generation Good! I feel incredibly lucky and want to share what a great time it was!
The venue was at my friend’s GORGEOUS house. I just had to share her Gone with the Wind-esque sprawling staircase and oh-so-fab chandelier. What an entrance!
The goods! I literally started jumping up and down when this box of goodies arrived on my doorstep. It was so much fun putting together the party gift bags, distributing the samples and doing the display. All the products are 100% useful, daily must haves in our lives so they are sure to be used!
We hit on a variety of topics such as: women’s healthcare in the United States, upcycling products, baby birth stories, breastfeeding tips, favorite household cleaner brands and shopping habits. The biggest hit and eye-opener had to be the feminine pads. Everyone was shocked that most other manufacturers use all sorts of chemicals and no cotton in a product that comes in contact with your most intimate parts! Seventh Generation pads and tampons don’t use bleach, chlorine or any dyes.
With 10 guests, of course there was a feast! No simple snacks at my party–only gourmet 3-course meals!
The star of the party was my little Daphne (as if there was any doubt)! She had a lot of celebrate–her 3 month birthday, her first Thanksgiving and her first time traveling! All a success!
Daphne got to be the center of attention and was great at stimulating conversation! All the ladies just couldn’t get enough of her adorable coos, smiles and giggles!
My friend Michelle even gifted me a Seventh Generation diaper pack to complete the theme of the party!
I was happy to introduce this brand to my friends and family members at this party and share our exciting war stories together. I’m a big proponent of reducing waste and spreading education about women’s health so this was an amazing opportunity to do both! Seventh Generation products are available at Target, Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond and their own website. I personally buy through Grove Collaborative along with Mrs. Meyers awesome smelling cleaning products!
Cheers!
